Refund, Cancellation, and Licensing Policy

Thank you for choosing Mar Jabouille – www.marjabouille.com]. This policy outlines the terms regarding refunds, cancellations, and licensing for our digital products and consultancy services. Please read carefully.

1. Digital Products (eBooks and Guides)

​

  • Final Sale: All sales of digital products are final.

  • Right of Withdrawal: By purchasing, you consent to immediate access and expressly acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under Portuguese Law (Decree-Law 24/2014, Article 17, paragraph m).

  • Personal Use License: Purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only. Content may not be shared, reproduced, resold, or used for commercial purposes.

  • Unauthorized Distribution: Any unauthorized use constitutes a breach of copyright law.

2. Design Consultancy Services

​

  • Booking and Payment: Appointments are confirmed upon full payment.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Online Consultations

    • Appointments are scheduled upon payment.

    • Cancellations made between 12 hours and 1 hour before the scheduled consultation incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    • Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the consultation, or no-shows, will be charged the full fee (100%).

    • Rescheduling is permitted up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time without additional cost. Requests made after these deadlines will not be accepted. Applicable cancellation fee will apply.
       

    • ​In-Person Consultations​

    • Appointments are subject to manual approval. Once approved, you will receive confirmation of the total fee (base fee + per km fee round trip from Cascais) and a payment link.

    • Bookings are only secured once full payment is received before the scheduled date.

    • Cancellations made between 24 hours and 12 hours before the scheduled consultation incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the consultation, or no-shows, will be charged the full fee (100%).

    • Rescheduling is permitted up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time without additional cost. Requests made after these deadlines will not be accepted. Applicable cancellation fee will apply.
       

  • Legal Notice: Under Portuguese Law (Decree-Law 24/2014, Article 17, paragraph l), consultancy services provided at a specific date and time are not subject to the 14-day withdrawal right.

3. Technical Issues with Digital Products

​

If you experience technical issues, please contact us at mar@marjabouille.com within 7 days of purchase. We will provide assistance, a replacement file, or renewed access. Refunds will only be considered if the issue cannot be resolved.

4. Exceptions


Refunds or exceptions may be granted at our sole discretion in extraordinary circumstances.
